stone works great there was some confusion on my part as to how they sold the instruction manual. My impression is that this is a full size guide but if you look in the little box with the stone you will find a little booklet with step by step instructions and very helpful pictures. I highly recommend this product, especially good for senior dogs in pain. Arrived very quickly, has a lot of weight so I don't have to bring my hands together when pressing, really nice big shape that fits my hand perfectly. I like the curves at the end of the stone for full contact with my dog's skinny legs. This product was recommended to me by my vet.
