Review on A-Premium Tailgate Rear Hatch Lift Supports Shock Struts Replacement for Chevrolet Corvette 1984-1996 with Reversed Defroster - Set of 2 by Mario Olmos

I had no idea how bad the factory lifts were on my 1996 Corvette. This is a direct match. The installation was a walk in the park. They come with new defroster clamps, but of course they come loose because they have to be put in position before finally tightening. Also, you have to remove one to install the small rubber ring from the factory struts. Either way, don't forget to tighten them or you'll have a spark fest. You don't have to take them off to tighten them. The results are amazing. It opens gently but confidently, and for the first time in many years it has opened fully. I just hope these aspirations hold up.
