I bought these to replace a set of HDMI over Cat6 extenders that were becoming unreliable. I chose them because of the PoE and USB connection for the mouse. A mouse port would allow me to place a mouse next to a remote monitor to control the NVR it was connected to. Power supply (PoE) and the image part of the equation work fine, but I can't get the mouse port to work. I've tried multiple mice, both wired and wireless dongles, but nothing was sent back to the NVR. All the same mice work great when connected to the DVR. I tried different cables to connect the transmitter to the NVR but to no avail. So I saved them and used them, but be careful the mouse connector may not work. I wrote to support but heard nothing.
