Seems to have the same fault as La Crosse chargers. (also have BC-1000) Only La Crosse reports this in their manual. A fully discharged battery will NOT charge (gives an error). he gains at least one trace charge - usually 5 minutes or less. Plug it back into the smart charger and you're good to go. Bonai doesn't mention it. These smart smart chargers also need an accompanying blunt. Any charger that requires a few batteries is dumb enough. That sounds so ridiculous that I'm quoting from my Lacrosse Guide. • The battery voltage is below 0.9V and the charger assumes the battery is damaged and will not charge it. .You can invest in a small charger/holder that will bring the battery back up to over 0.9V when plugged in for 20-30 seconds. . The battery can then be charged in our charger. The same can be said of Bonai - confirmed with two "discharged" batteries on first use.
