Brightness as advertised

I have a dealer who installed a footwell light kit in my car. This is a red LED. I've had a red LED dome to go with it for years. Apparently he was the smartest then. It was mediocre. It occurred to me that technology had improved and that I should try a new lightbulb. I'm glad I did. Not only can I see my insides clearly, but light floods the floor when you open the door. The color convinced me.
