Part of the bike helmet looks well made and has an adjustable handle to ensure a snug fit The road face shield mount is a weak foam brace that doesn't take a direct hit in a fall. I suspect that it protects against light scratches in the event of a fall. However if the fall was hard enough to cause more damage I'm not sure if it protects the jaw and chin strap which I bought for my daughter to wear while she rides the quad with me , but I will definitely buy a rugged one-piece off-road helmet if it's big enough to fit properly in and ride the off-road gear alone.
