Review on Waterproof Photography Magnetic Stepless Colorful by Ronald Wheeler

Single Purpose Flashlight

If you need a flashlight for underwater photography at a depth of no more than 3 feet for up to 30 minutes, then this flashlight is perfect for you. This light suffers from a few shortcomings that can only really be overlooked if you are using it for precisely that purpose. Otherwise, there are better light sources to choose from. The first disadvantage is the limited application. Unfortunately, this is another of those apps that require you to create an account to log in before you can use it. Manufacturers really need to stop this. There is no reason for me to have an account that I have to log into just to use the light unless it serves some other purpose for the business e.g. B.Marketing. You can set the light's color temperature as well as RGB colors via the app, but you can't actually enter a specific color temperature or RGB/HSI number. So you have to look at it quite a bit. The special effects mode in the app is limited to just a few rotating colors. No real light or candle effects. Actual light output is quite low, 6W maximum, and you only get that light output when using color temperature mode. Using RGB colors gives a good dimmer. The light is controlled by a series of button presses. There are no other controls or screen displays on the flashlight itself. In the box you get a USB-C cable to charge the flashlight, along with a very cheap remote and soft cloth case. The lamp has a built-in magnet. the back of the light, however the strength of the magnet is very weak and not strong enough to hold the light upright on the metal surface. They contain a strip magnet that can be stuck to a surface to hold the light. So this flashlight has many shortcomings. However, if, as I mentioned at the beginning of this review, you need a flashlight for underwater use (again, only to a maximum depth of 3 feet for a maximum of 30 minutes), then this flashlight may be perfect for you and well worth the cons.
