Great case, great price

I was very happy with this case! It is inherently durable and offers excellent overall protection. The edges on the short sides are slightly thicker (left/right in landscape mode) to provide more gripping surface. The cutouts for the speakers are nice to the touch - they direct the sound towards the user more than to the sides. Although the case is rounded at the edges, it doesn't interfere with swiping in from the edges. You may not be able to see this in the product images, but the long edges have a small channel to make it easier to run your finger along the edge (see attached image). I had no trouble swiping from the sides to multitask or swiping from the bottom to access the control center. The camera cutout also places the camera in a recess, but doesn't cover any part of the lens. The case is snug around the edges, but not too much - I was able to add a screen protector, and the poetic turtle skin was able to close the edges to the point where I literally can't even see the edge of the screen. Defender. Another nice aspect of this case is that the corners are slightly reinforced to protect against drops. The only thing I didn't like was that the stand is a little wobbly. However, I consider this a bonus and not the main reason for purchasing this case. It has different settings or clicks so you don't just get stuck in a corner. It holds the body well in both portrait and landscape modes. However, the pad on the back is a bit slippery (not the lip that the iPad rests on - the lip has a small rubber pad at the bottom). On a smooth surface, it feels like the stand flexes a bit because it slides a bit. I suppose it depends on your purpose of using the stand. If you leave it on the stand to type on the keyboard, the stand works fine. However, if you're using a stand that requires you to interact more with the touchscreen, a more durable stand might be a better fit for you. All in all very recommendable!
