Very surprised by the positive reviews (which is why I made this purchase). The waterproof material of this product is only for the top of the mattress. What falls down the sides of the mattress is just cheap mesh material. And like any mattress pad, it shifts as a person moves back and forth. Therefore, the edges of the mattress are sometimes only covered by the mesh. My elderly father, who gets wet in his sleep, mostly sits on the edge of the bed. And yes, it was wet. The mattress pad has shifted and now there is piss on my mattress. Nobody saw that as a problem? It is an inexpensive product because it is cheaply made. The waterproof material must cover the ENTIRE mattress. You have to pay a little more to get a quality waterproof mattress topper. Don't buy this one.
