Review on 🎢 Portable Mini Suitcase Turntable for 7 Inch Vinyl Record - Belt-Drive 2-Speed Player with Built-in Stereo Speaker (Black) by Benjamin Saric

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fun toy but poor sound quality

I was expecting poor sound quality from the tiny built in speaker (which is mono only, not stereo as the manufacturer claims), but my unit also vibrates heavily, causing warbling noises when the making music Unfortunately, the headphone jack is also mono-only and connecting external speakers improves the sound, but the sound is still tinny and the large speakers hum heavily from the motor. And if you don't want to play 3-inch vinyl records, the spindle adapter needed to play standard-size center-hole vinyl records adds to the hassle and is easily lost. But it's not all bad: the tonearm is properly aligned and weighted for the cartridge used (which, despite the manufacturer's claims, is unlikely to have been made in Japan) and comes with a quality sapphire needle that won't damage Styrene 45 unlike a 7 " MPK turntable. slotted. I pulled out a box of old 45s and had a lot of fun playing this tiny cheap toy despite the poor sound quality. The tiny built in speaker makes it sound like you are playing songs on a small transistor AM -Listen to the radio old times. Music was new. Give your child this player and a stack of 45s and let them enjoy it without fear of ruining your prized vinyl records because they won't even fit on it!
