Review on Handmade Random Circle Punch for Scrapbooking & Stamping - Candy Circle Design by Wendy Rodriguez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cuts printer paper perfectly, but NOT cardboard or laminated paper!

So my kids love this product because they can cut holes in anything so they are fit for what they were designed for. Flip the hole punch and see what you're cutting, which I wasn't sure about when I bought them. - good range of sizes - price is right. Cons: - doesn't handle thick paper well. Tried regular 60lb card stock and some of the punches were able to cut well while others tore apart a bit compared to cutting. - Multiple sheets cannot be cut at the same time. - If there is a way to sharpen them I don't know how, making long-term use unlikely. - very poorly cuts laminated plain paper. I will say it will cut through some areas of laminated paper just fine, but you should use it more as a guide and cut with scissors. Something defeats the purpose but gives you a guide. Generally if you need them for basic paper cutting, maybe scrapbooking or kids projects they might be fine, but not for heavy cuts.
