Review on High Performance Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor: Height Adjustable, 240Hz, Full HD 1920X1080P - AW2518Hf by Akira Givens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Clear picture and smooth gameplay! Works great on console too! Especially with XB1 X supporting FreeSync 2!

I bought several monitors for my Xbox One X before settling on the Alienware 25 inch monitor. Other than upgrading my old XB1 to the latest generation, this was the best purchase I've ever made. Gameplay is much smoother than my Samsung 24" IPS. Brighter and crisper than any other TN gaming bar I've purchased, including Asus. While I limit this monitor to 60Hz on my console, I can on mine Enjoy MacBook Pro 120Hz with great colors and crisp text. The 240Hz offering is just the icing on the cake and this monitor will be more reliable in the future. Now that the XB1 X supports adaptive FreeSync 2 there are even more reasons I can't say to use this high quality monitor for your XB1 X. PS4 Pro.I can tell you that FreeSync with the XB1 X 04/18 update has noticeably improved smoothness during fast transitions.BENEFITS: Ultra-fast refresh rate Excellent colors and Clarity for a TN panel Beautiful, modern designFREESYNC support via DP and HDMI (ideal for consoles) Excellent user experience Product designed in the USA by a well-known US company ens (Dell) Plenty of ports and connectivity options takes up quite a bit of space on your desk and can hold you closer to the monitor than you'd like. If you have a deep desk or intend to use your own stand, that doesn't pose a problem. > 1080p isn't particularly future-proof as even the XB1 X now supports 1440p resolution. If you've got $300 and want a monitor with a high refresh rate, an attractive design, solid build, and FreeSync support, no problem. Just be aware of your limitations at resolutions higher than 1080p. Good game.
