I have installed Leviton and Luton 10v dimmers in other homes and recently installed some ASD troffers (NOT a typo from another company. More on that in a moment ) Completed panel 10V dimmable led troffer lamp for family members. I liked them so much that I bought four of them and installed them in my home, but settled on this ASL switch because it was cheaper than the previous well-known brands I used. Also, I realized that I knew the ASD bulbs were high quality, so their switches should be the same. I didn't realize it was the "ASL" switch and not "ASD". I noticed that as soon as I opened the packaging. Weak metal plate, poor documentation, unconventional wiring nomenclature for a 3-way switch, but instead of waiting for the job to be completed and it sent back, I installed it anyway, having already fished out the 10v control wires and the existing switch had removed. was a substitute. It worked, but when I tried to adjust the range of the dimmer, the screwdriver's recessed plastic receiver broke the second I touched it. I didn't even get a chance to rotate it or adjust any settings. Now I can't adjust the range, I'm stuck with a dimmer that only goes down to 50% at the lowest level and is at full brightness in the upper third of the dimming path. Also, the instructions mention a second high-level setting, but it doesn't. Just an attitude that broke immediately. This is an incredibly cheap switch. It works out. Hardly. I regret trying to save a few bucks in my own home and would never install it in a buyer's home. If the seller is willing to send me a replacement so I can at least get the dimming range right, I could at least add some positive things to this review in terms of customer support. For now, I will not be recommending or patronizing this product or company in the future. Update: The seller was quick to respond to my emails and offered to either replace or refund the product. Since the product was not updated or replaced with a better model, I opted for a refund, which the seller promptly arranged. 5 star service. The Switch still gives 2 stars.
