I love this little champion! The warmth convinces despite compactness. The flames are realistic and soothing. We have an open floor plan and I bought this foot warmer but soon found that in winter blade/directional mode the ceiling fan heats the room very slowly unless you install a sensor. I had to get up and turn it off twice! I have two very minor complaints, but they don't really mean anything and shouldn't put you off a purchase. First, it has a plastic smell when you first start it. Totally normal, just by the way. And the other - a couple of screws that were loosened when attaching the legs. The pre-installed holes are very tight so I just skipped the screws first with no legs, unscrewed then attached, problem solved and assembled in 10 minutes. Again, nothing serious, just FYI.
