We have city water so it tastes weird. We fill pitchers with water so that there is drinking water at home. We chose this water filter system because of the Brita brand. Installation was pretty easy. I just had a small problem that my husband could easily take care of. Initially the water had a strange/unpleasant taste. To counteract this, we run water through the filtration system for at least 30 minutes to an hour. He still has a slightly different taste; but that doesn't make us sick anymore. Unfortunately, we still prefer to fill our pitchers with water, which is why we rarely use water from the filter system.
