Review on 🖌️ Silver Brush Limited 3008S1-1/4in Black Velvet Square Wash Watercolor Paint Brush, 1.25" Size, with Short Handle by Amber Perez

Silver Black Velvet brushes are one of my favorites - the mix of squirrel and synthetic bristles holds a lot of water/paint and has a good "click" too. This 1/4 inch flat brush is a good little brush. However, the packaging was terrible - the brush arrived exactly as pictured, with the hair slanted and no head guard or hair holder to hold it. to the stain or edge. Luckily the brush itself is of such good quality that I fixed the brush as soon as it arrived (a little hair gel and used my fingers to smooth everything out and put the hair on the right "edge" then let it dry) and waited a few days before first use. After washing off the hair gel, the bristles have retained their sharpness and the brush works well.
