. At first I thought I wasn't adjusting it properly because the knob didn't want to go in and move my foot. I had to grab a screw to apply enough force to push the button down to allow the leg to move, and then came the not-so-surprising surprise that EVERY leg had to be adjusted. Then came the surprise that a little too much force caused the little button to come loose and get stuck. Not to mention, if you go from shortest to tallest, you have to press it again for EVERY hole on EVERY leg (I moved it 6 holes yesterday, x4 = 24 times, I had to interact with this thing!$ to adjust it ) . Basically adapt it to flatbread. But when adjusted to the desired height and position, it comes in very handy. Durability decreases as you go higher, but not too much of an issue unless you have a full can of paint or whatever. The downside is in fact the difficulty of adjusting all 4 legs. It's almost impossible for me to do this while he's standing upright, I have to turn him over and adjust each leg and then punch back. I consider the adjustment a design flaw, not my first choice for easy adjustment or long-term leg extension support.
