It's very difficult to hit with your foot. *High Rise*
I can't say anything about the durability as we haven't used it. We followed the size chart exactly and while they appear to be the right size for my 1 year old daughter, she has a slightly high instep and we were unable to fit her foot in the boot. Unfortunately we had to send them back. They could afford to be a little more kid-friendly when it comes to design. I couldn't believe how hard it was trying to get her foot in.
