I didn't buy this case to hide a battered steering wheel, on the contrary I wanted to protect the new beautiful and expensive factory steering wheel leather. I always hate it when my leather steering wheel gets those worn and worn slick spots after a few years of work. Reviews and FAQs said it's not "thick" like other cases. I think these signs are subjective because for me it was pretty thick, at least compared to what I wanted. One of the comments on the review said it doesn't have a hard plastic inner liner like some of those sold in parts stores. It's like it's true. It has a thinner and slightly less firm plastic liner that isn't as thick as the local stores, but such is that this case isn't snug and form-fitting. It's pretty good quality, soft on the outside but it won't be tight or tight if that's what you're looking for. On the plus side, it's easy to install and doesn't take you an hour and a half to install like the real leather stitching options, and it looks 'good', but it doesn't look factory like.
