My dental floss kept breaking, but my dental floss didn't. We both used the Glide brand, but it differed from the drugstore heavy consumer products. The dentist gave me some spools of his material. Not only does the dentist version come in much longer coils, it DOESN'T break! So I ordered this to give out dentist coils. It works GREAT and EASY and does exactly what I need it to do. The reason I downgraded it is because it shouldn't cost more than 50 cents to make, so I think it's overpriced. Even at the overpriced price I would buy it again as I need it and it works.
