Fur, cheap copy of the original. Screw and union nut are made of plastic. The original was metal with a metal nut. This specimen definitely has modern China. This is the case of Johnson and Johnson, it is written that it is made in the USA, yes, possibly with imported parts. Disappointed but works because the large filament spools don't get stuck like the best dispensers they come with.

Great idea. No need to buy a new dispenser every time you run out of filament. I feel stupid all these years for buying a new tank every time I ran out of filament. This dispenser works great. There is no loss of quality compared to disposable packaging. I also like that I can get longer spools of filament than in disposable containers.

I bought this floss dispenser to replace my broken Glide keg dispenser. This is much stronger and the thread easily detaches from the spindle. There are no assembly/disassembly instructions, but everything is intuitive and unscrewable for a penny.

I have a special yarn that I bought in bulk and it fits perfectly. I no longer have to wrap it on my smaller, more portable case. There are two small cutters on the metal part, but they don't always keep the filament in place after cutting. I wish there was an extra holder next to the cutter because the length of thread left after cutting is quite small. Otherwise I think it's a great purchase, even if the price is a bit high for such a simple plastic housing.

My dental floss kept breaking, but my dental floss didn't. We both used the Glide brand, but it differed from the drugstore heavy consumer products. The dentist gave me some spools of his material. Not only does the dentist version come in much longer coils, it DOESN'T break! So I ordered this to give out dentist coils. It works GREAT and EASY and does exactly what I need it to do. The reason I downgraded it is because it shouldn't cost more than 50 cents to make, so I think it's overpriced…
