I ordered a pair for the back of my '97 Mustang GT. Factory shock absorbers were completely disassembled. The only problem I had with these replacement parts was that the ones I got had to be sharpened with a chainsaw sharpener just to get them to fit because they were poorly made and everything inside still had bits of metal that they attached to prevented from fitting in my wagons. . After using both shocks for about 30 minutes I was able to tighten them in the back and cut the strap to match the underside. So far, so good.
