Review on Wireless Transmitter Receiver Amplifier Streaming by Tone Hatton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worked well on the bar terrace.

I am a DJ, I was hired to play in commercials and play soccer in the patio bar on my break. I needed gaming noise from the TV across the patio (about 70 feet) to my install location. My only options were to run a cable or find a transceiver. This worked very well for me with a few hiccups. I had a problem early on, the receiver was in direct sunlight and it was starting to have a lot of interference. It was when I listened to pre-game music and spotted it in time to get it out of the sun. The noise went away pretty quickly. When I first received the package, I installed it in my living room. The transmitter and receiver were about 25 feet apart and about 2 feet off the ground. I took a few shots in the room and the sound was completely gone for a few seconds. Not sure if it was because it was a small room and I was in between or not. Hopefully if I use it in a large room (bar) it won't be a problem, otherwise it goes back to the cable. The only audio cables supplied are 1-twin RCA to 1/8" and 1-1/8" to 1/8". Keep this in mind if your TV doesn't have a headphone jack and you need RCA jacks for your stereo or your mixer. Both the transmitter input and receiver output are 1/8" connectors. It wasn't visible in the picture, but there were 2 USB power adapters included in the kit. USB power from TV works fine.

Pros
  • Wireless audio receivers and adapters
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
