I'm afraid my kids will be traveling through Wal-Mart with me and some catch terrible flu that wipes the whole family off the face of the earth. Not to mention that a baby chewing on the handle of a shopping cart is a stomach-churning sight! So I bought it to use with my first child who is now 3 years old. I still use it with my second child who is now 1.5 years old. He's doing his job. I also casually threw cereal right on the seat during an 8 month tantrum in Aisle 6. I was even careless and accidentally left it outside for about a week due to rain and heat! (How embarrassing) But I took it with me and rinsed it through my washing machine. It was almost as if it had never happened. Works perfectly. Keeps my kids clean and secure with the attached strap. Even a crumpled toy to catch a child's attention for a moment. I would buy this again!
