Review on PLUSPOE Dimmable Magnetic Transformer Compatible by Mike Littlejohn

This 50 watt fixture is lightweight and compact, dims the light very well with no flicker and I love the fact that it comes with a bare wire adapter on the end of the cord. It's quiet at full brightness and pretty quiet as soon as it's turned on. Somewhere in between, a buzz is so terribly loud that I don't think I can use it unless I build an enclosure for it. The description states that the device was updated in 2017 to eliminate hum. Either I have an older device or it's just not right. I use it to drive 30W (six 5W bulbs). I haven't tested if reducing the load changes the hum yet. If you use this in a noisy place or have the opportunity to install it somewhere in a closet, you'll probably be fine. In a quiet room - forget it if you want to use a dimmer. On the video, the dimmer is set about halfway.
