IMO. The use of manufacturer software opens up a security problem. All I wanted was a camera that I could use in a web browser to watch videos. You must use the provider's software and this MAY allow the provider to view your video. I suggest using a camera that allows for a direct connection and doesn't require you to use a provider's website to view your video. Note. Support informed me that I CANNOT connect using a web browser, but could use the Blue Iris software to connect. Smile when facing the camera so the seller can see you and laugh. UPDATE 11/15/2020. $15 Revain Gift Card IF I delete my review. The bottom line is that when you install their software, you give them the right to collect personal data from your phone and camera. Do yourself a favor and get a camera that gives you direct access to it with no third-party apps and no data mining. Read the fine print and make your own call.
