Great for camping - increased signal strength

I was quite skeptical on this point as most people seem to buy RV antenna systems for cellular and wifi that cost $$$. But this adapter works well.1. It doesn't need Win10 driver. Windows recognized it. I just changed the shape of the Wi-Fi network to Wi-Fi 2 (using the little wave icon in the corner). After I plugged it in, Windows added "Wifi 2" to that menu item. It comes with a mini CD with other drivers and non-win 10 windows drivers (I suspect).2. The throughput is the same as my internal network card on my ASUS laptop. Both the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 (Laptop INTERNAL) and the Realtek 8814AU Wireless Lan 801.11ac USB NIC (which is the device that plugs into the USB port) report up to 780Mbps up and down . Anyway, it's not that big of a problem if the problem is getting a good signal.3. The improvement in signal strength is remarkable, so I'm happy with this adapter. The INTERNAL Intel adapter had a signal strength of 50%, but this Techkey Wireless Wi-Fi adapter had a signal strength of 76% when using the 10ft USB extension cable. THAT is remarkable. This should greatly improve weak camping Wi-Fi signals. . .
