1. didn't work, 2. barely worked.

These cables are junk. I bought these to use with my astronomy cameras. When the first cable arrived I tried it and nothing worked. When using it, none of my cameras could be recognized, not my filter wheel, not even my flash drive. The included power cord was also used. So I sent it back and got a replacement. This time my cameras show up correctly but turn off randomly. This happened on multiple devices and multiple computer ports. Even when connected, the maximum frame rate was less than 1/3

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Too slow for my VR on Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I couldn't get my VR headset to work with this cable. I tried using the cable with each sensor and headset in different ports on my computer and the VR setup complained every time and the headset disappeared and reappeared on the device setup screen. In addition, using this cable with a flash drive will greatly affect the reading speed. I believe this cable is not suitable for devices that use the maximum bandwidth of USB 3.0.

Premium Essential External Power Cable

Includes a 16-foot active USB 3 cable and an external power supply to deliver full power to any connected device. A typical 16ft active USB 3 extension cable did not provide enough power to run my scanner (rated at 4.5W). Apparently the active cable draws enough current itself to not have enough current to run a device like a scanner, that solved the problem! I'm very happy to be able to place my scanner on a table away from my PC, it seems to be very well built.

WORKS FOR OCULUS, but there's a catch.

This whole attempt has been a nightmare, I just ran some cables through which I ran about 5 displayports and USB3 but it looks like it's running out! So this USB 3 cable works for the Rift S, but the included power adapter isn't big enough, for some reason it comes with a 5V 2000mA power adapter. USB 3 can handle up to 5 amps, which the headset requires to perform many of the headset's functions. . I changed the power supply to a home made 5v 4 amp power supply and plugged it back in and itโ€ฆ

This is the best (and) longest USB 3.0 I've ever had!

This cable literally solved the problem of my single monitor being too far from my PC. I had several USB devices that I wanted to use but never could. Until this cable came to my front door. This is a 5 meter USB 3.0 (now 3.1 Gen 1) 5 volt / 2.5 amp included. A power adapter and great support from Pluggable are included in their products. There's nothing special about this cable, except that it was surprisingly long. The cables were easy to use and I now have a wonderful set of devices. Theโ€ฆ

Works like 3.0 with Rift headset and Inateck card

Bought for a third Oculus sensor which I don't already have. Use with Rift headset and Inateck 3.0 card. Detected by Rift as 3.0 with plug and play installation and no power supply. Held at 3.0 for a one hour test. The tracking is very smooth and I almost feel like the graphics are better, but it's more likely just the tracking. I'm a fan of Pluggable because they write the drivers and put the product on the website. In this case, the electronics case looks fine, except you can see that it'sโ€ฆ

Great for camping - increased signal strength

I was quite skeptical on this point as most people seem to buy RV antenna systems for cellular and wifi that cost $$$. But this adapter works well.1. It doesn't need Win10 driver. Windows recognized it. I just changed the shape of the Wi-Fi network to Wi-Fi 2 (using the little wave icon in the corner). After I plugged it in, Windows added "Wifi 2" to that menu item. It comes with a mini CD with other drivers and non-win 10 windows drivers (I suspect).2. The throughput is the same as my internal
