Much more comfortable than a traditional Elizabethan collar

Hallelujah! Big bravo to whoever invented these inflatable dog collars. They are much less bulky and more comfortable than traditional Elizabethan collars. I've seen so many unhappy dogs with electronic collars when I was a vet, but these inflatable dogs are much easier to get used to. (And no more bruising and scratching human legs) I recommend these to my dog training clients and we've found them to work for most dogs, although dogs with a long snout or body can still grip after stomach wounds or problems with their tails. . As always, encourage your dog when teaching him to wear it. I highly recommend buying it BEFORE you need it and working with your dog to acclimate him. Just think of it as another tool in your "K9 Wound Healing Kit". Young dogs, or dogs that have not been properly trained with them, CAN pull off or damage them, but dogs that wear them comfortably usually have no problem. One of my dogs is wearing it right now because of a knee injury and yet she feels calm and comfortable in this collar and is about to fall asleep.
