I'm so close to giving 5 stars! We recently used it for our spring break and found it to work very well, even exceeding our expectations. We used it on the roof of our Suburu Impreza (with roof bars and cross bars). Advantages: - Absolute weather protection. We drove at highway speed in non-stop rain for several hours, with occasional showers. No water got into the bag! - Dense Material - The bag itself is made of high quality durable material. It seems very strong and durable. The straps are easy to adjust and very long. While we didn't fill it completely or anywhere near, we did manage to tighten the straps so nothing flapped in the wind. The straps are SUPER long, especially when you're not filling your bag. But it really wasn't a problem. We just often wrapped them around the roof rails. Cons: - The zipper puller is a regular size but VERY difficult to open/close due to the thickness of the material. Large handle with zipper would make opening/closing easier and wouldn't let our fingers cramp after car packing or unpacking.
