It's a very durable silicone and the dust cover actually stays in the charging port which was one of my biggest issues as my case doesn't stay on my latest AirPods when I open it too wide The "tanned" part of the design is definitely more brown with a peach hue, but I prefer it as it goes better with the leopard print and isn't worn anywhere. The only downside to this longevity is that when you open it, your AirPods don't just stay open like they don't have a case, they close on their own. I think it's easier not to lose them or prevent them from jumping out of you by dropping the suitcase, but it's still a disadvantage. The silicone in front of the small display on AirPods is thinner, so you can still see the light in daylight, and while there's no pairing button mark on the back, you can still press it once you've found it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wears normally and is worried about falls and scratches as it definitely protects against that and also makes expensive AirPods safe and cute. I haven't had any issues with the metal clip or the loop it holds on to, it hasn't broken yet and the clip stays closed so I don't have to worry about it opening itself. I definitely recommend this to everyone!
