Review on Performance-driven Beck Arnley 131-2273 Water Pump: Optimal coolant circulation for enhanced engine functionality by Zachary Benjamin

My poor rating for this product may be due to poor shipping packaging. I bought this water pump with the intention of saving about $60 on my Kia Spectra water pump replacement. I've heard good things about Beck Arnley Pumps. It arrived in a very thin box and the pump looked like it had been roughened in transit. I looked at the pump and found no defects. Not knowing anything better, I took it to a mechanic to have it replaced. Less than a week after I got the car from the shop it started making a high pitched whistle. Took it to the mechanic who said the water pump was faulty. I had to order a new water pump and spend $400 to install it. It was a $460 mistake.
