I'm thinking of using an RTV to add water resistance as well as glass windows for the laser projectors. I docked two stars for this as washers are to be expected to keep water out as the wheels lift water when cycling. The specification of a high degree of protection (IP) is misleading at best. Traffic light: which traffic light? function does not exist. It's not mentioned anywhere in the manual. This should not be listed as a feature in the summary section of the product listing as this light does NOT have a brake light feature. I add one more star for this misleading statement. The light is very bright and the turn signals work great. I don't understand why people "almost fall off their bikes" trying to use turn signals because it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you're not the intended turn signal viewer and don't need to be an acrobat looking at the turn signal; just look for the flashing LED in the turn signal button; If it flashes, the turn signal is on. If not, it isn't. This isn't a rocket operation, folks! ;) Battery life: This flashlight comes with a rechargeable 2000mAh battery, but it can be easily upgraded. I'm planning to upgrade to a 3500mAh battery which will solve the battery life issue, but 10 hours TBH is enough to last a whole summer night and then some. Cheap devices usually come with poor quality cells, but it's not outrageously overpriced like many other cheap Chinese devices, so that's fine. I'm dropping the included cell in favor of a high capacity cell for even longer battery life. The supplied cell is much better than I expected.
