I had my 11 year old dog's teeth cleaned and had 2 teeth removed. The vet told me if I brushed her teeth I wouldn't have to brush his again. For those of you in the know, it's quite expensive, up to $1300! So I bought it when he told me the brush really wouldn't work as the dog wouldn't like it. My dog weighs 13 kilos. So I first put some toothpaste on my finger to let her get used to the finger in her mouth. She's not crazy about it, but doing it often without a finger brush has gotten her through. So when I used the finger brush it wasn't as receptive at first but after many uses it got better. I also pour water on my finger after brushing her teeth with toothpaste to make her feel that her mouth and tongue are washed :) Then I take her for a walk and she forgets to brush her teeth. They are great and I really recommend them. Her breathing got much better and the tartar was gone. Loves this product as clean dog teeth can prevent complications like heart problems.
