It's easy to take a water bottle with you.
Love the extra outside pocket. I'm not a kid and I love it so I don't know why you call it a kids bike water bottle cage. I haven't really tried attaching it to my bike because I have water bottles, but I attach it to my kayak so I don't lose it. It's a good size, holds a bottle well and has a bit of extra space for keys or other small things.
