This item is awesome! - Once you get the hang of it, pair

So first things first, this thing is great, looks well made and works way better than I expected. The fact that you can control each outlet independently is amazing. I use it with Google Home with no problems. I was going to give it 4 stars for the setup and instructions but it's too cool to give it 4. I already have a few Smartlife devices and set them up with no problems, so I was a little annoyed when I couldn't figure it out in the first.1. You need to connect your phone or device to 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5G if you have a dual-band router2. When you plug in the device for the first time, it will turn on automatically (all lights are green, including the main power button). You have to press the power button once to turn off the device (that really baffled me). I held down the green power button for 5 seconds while it was on and I just flashed quickly and made a weird buzz and then nothing happened. After about 10 tries, I accidentally pressed the power button just once and it went into "off" mode (the power button light turned blue) without even realizing I could do it at first. In off mode, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds and the blue light will start flashing. After that there were no problems.3. The instructions say to select the "Socket" option in the Smartlife app, but I changed my mind and chose the "Wifi Splitter" option and from there it was very easy. "Socket" might work quite well, I don't know, although after the first launch it works like a charm and has an extremely fast response time to Google Home instructions. Very satisfied and works great with my outdoor lighting.
