Just received this today so can't comment on durability but am happy with the product so far! It's important to note that you personally can't see the LEDs inside and the color is really red and off-white. It is difficult to capture these true tones in photos. So if you don't want this for a photo background, remember This is what these images will look like (although I haven't tried it on a DSLR, it will probably do better there than on a phone camera). The edges aren't the cleanest, but are only noticeable up close. The plastic back looks like a plastic wrap around things like padlocks or flashlights when bought, aside from the textured edges, but from a distance it looks like professional grade plastic/glass. Not super bright, but gives a warm ambient light. All in all, for $20, it adds the perfect amount of detail and warmth to the room. Satisfied!
