Very useful! I really needed something like this in my bedroom. It extends a traditional double socket and has integrated USB ports, creating even more space. The shelf is great when I'm trying to charge MP3 players or power banks. This gives you a place to set things up instead of just hanging around and unplugging over and over again. The shelf also has slots on both sides where you can attach strings. Can also be used without a shelf. At the bottom is a night light that can be set to automatic or off. There is a switch on the bottom that controls everything. Works very well for me.
