Colors are exactly the same as in the picture, very bright. Can't comment on durability as we've only used it once but it seems well made to be and the installation took only ten minutes. I have used it for kindergarten kids and it fits them well and is also suitable for toddlers/preschoolers. This would be too small for children eight years and older. I appreciated the tote bag which made it a lot easier to carry and it's big so you don't have to squeeze out 100% of the air or fold the house perfectly to fit in. The kit also included several pens. to secure it - four for the bouncy castle and a few extras that I used for the tarp I put under the house - and some patches in case it gets a hole.
