Bought as a secondary monitor primarily for media viewing (along with office use and light gaming) and does all of those things well. You could probably find better options for each of those individual use cases (e.g. games where you want 144Hz or higher and maybe IPS instead of VA), but if you're looking for a balance between different content types I'd be heavy. pressed to find a better option for this low price. I can't comment on the stand as I have it on my monitor arm. Otherwise I would buy one again in a heartbeat.
