I bought this for my iPod touch 32GB 3G which I got as a birthday present. I've been looking for the best overall iPod touch case for weeks because I get really obsessive compulsive disorder with my electronic devices. At first I thought about a hard case for the iPod touch, but I realized that dropping the iPod wouldn't be a good idea. There is no shock absorption in a hard case. I'm glad I chose gum/gel. The product photos on Revain do not represent the product itself. The checkered box design on the back of the case is actually quite nice and feels very good too. You never feel it slip off etc. It fits iPod touch very well. There are no loose spots and best of all, putting on and taking off the iPod touch case is a breeze. The housing is very easy to clean with soap and water. Absolutely no problem. The case protects the on/off switch and the volume rocker. They are not difficult to squeeze or control with a rubber sleeve. Also, there is a long "hole" at the bottom for an iPod jack and a headphone jack. It is very easy to attach and detach the cables with the case. Like other people, I was concerned that the back of the iPod might get scratched inside the rubber case. To counter this, I bought a back-only screen protector from BodyGuardz for about $20 and put it on the iPod before putting it in the Speck case. A screen protector was also purchased from PowerSupport (TU301LL/A Crystal Film Set for iPod touch 2G) as the Speck does not come with a screen protector. A nice feature of the Speck case is that the home button is protected by a rubber cover. This is a plus. I recommend this case to anyone with an iPod touch.
