I'm glad I bought these. They're slightly larger than standard joysticks and the buttons are slightly larger, making them look more like a controller than a kid's toy. The back is in the shape of a real controller, the rumble is very good. After using the Nintendo joysticks for a while, my hand starts to get used to the tiny size and everything I pick up then seems weird for a while, but that doesn't happen with them. My 8 year old loves these too so they are comfortable for both big and small hands. I like the look of the controller part, looks cool although I've only used it in a portable device and can't comment on the battery life. As long as no joystick drifts. One thing about the set I received. The left joystick sits very close to the switch. After removing it many times it is less firm but still so firm that I have to force it the last inch or so to fully connect it to the switch and force it off when I do want to take it off. The right joycon fits like any other joycon. I haven't checked out the extra features yet, but they're definitely worth getting.
