We bought this set of collars a while ago so they have definitely lasted longer than most of these items. However, one collar died almost immediately upon receipt. The company was really good at sending us a replacement quickly and easily. Now we have another one that just happened to stop working. I plug it in to charge, the light stays green for about 10 seconds, then it beeps and turns red. I take it off the charger and it doesn't turn on at all. Disappointing, but as I said, at least it took longer than others. I also note that, like many other collars, it says it's waterproof, but it's not. It has a small rubber plug to connect to the charging port, but it is loose and can be easily pulled out by the dog's natural movements. I sealed both cuffs with tape when used to keep the fork in and water out.
