Double Din Dashboard Kit

All OK. This product does the job it was designed to do and does it well. Texturing like the original. If that's something you're into, you might want to forego an upgrade. The side mounts are plastic and flimsy, or as the manual says, "snap in". Yes, it snaps into place, but it can also be easily unzipped. Be prepared for some swearing as you try to organize the movement of the main unit, side brackets and adapter in one piece for dash mounting. A NOTICE. The side mounts are a bit difficult to figure out even with the manual. But once you do, it makes sense. My best suggestion: Position the side brackets with the screw holes in the installed position and they will then be in the correct orientation to snap into place. Once you install them, they look decent and install well. Note: Most aftermarket head units tend to have many more cables than the original. Use zip ties and patiently tuck the cables into the dashboard, allowing the head unit to slide easily into the dashboard. If you have to click it, you're doing it wrong. Finally, once the device is in, it doesn't seem to sit as far back as the original to me. Not bad, but not perfect. In general I am satisfied. Damn it's a truck 06 with over 200,000 miles this dash kit works great and looks decent! it looks decent and assembles well.
