First, they are opaque, they are "translucent" white. They have a wider grip angle but don't generate more suction than any of the others. They, like most others, are lost after a few weeks. At the moment I don't think it's possible to have an aquarium sucker that prevents the growth of the glass causing them to be lost. Because they have a wider viewing angle, they also catch the eye visually. In terms of recommendations, if you don't expect anything better than the rest, I'd say they're ok.
