Review on ☕ Violet Sky 12oz Ombre Simple Modern Voyager Insulated Travel Mug Tumbler with Straw and Clear Flip Lid - Coffee Cup Stainless Steel Thermos by Courtney Cameron

Overall I'm happy with this mug, it keeps my coffee nice and hot for the 3 hours it takes me to drink 24 ounces of coffee. It's light for its size and fits perfectly in my car cup holder and feels good in my hand when I'm carrying it around. However, I have a few problems with it. The first is purely cosmetic, I ordered the Violet Sky color and the picture shows a mug that is mostly purple with only the bottom third being all black. The mug I received is the opposite, the bottom 2/3 is all black and the top 1/3 is purple. Since I chose this color because I love purple, I was disappointed. My second problem is the lid. It closes tightly and doesn't leak at all when fully closed, but it's SUPER difficult to open when the tab is fully closed. I don't really need it to be fully sealed so I just don't close it fully especially when it's full as the force it takes to open it resulted in my coffee spilling on my hand when I tried . However, for some people this might be okay if you carry this mug in your pocket, for example. I also wish this mug was a little easier to grip. Although the shape is quite flimsy I don't have a problem with it, I usually carry this mug when I'm walking around and it would be nice to be a little bit more confident that it won't slip out of my hand. I haven't dropped it yet! Overall I would recommend this mug if none of these issues bother you.
