This crockery set is very beautiful, high quality, cooks evenly, washes quickly and easily. I tested the larger of the two by roasting a large chicken in it, which was crispy, evenly cooked, and juicy. And not just because of my cooking skills. The pan itself retained the juices and gave the end result an even cook with minimal supervision on my part. The grill pan can be used as a lid for the grill (both are suitable for use in the oven). When used alone on the stovetop, it also cooks evenly - no undercooked food off the edges of the pan - and I love that the grill lets it sit on the chicken breasts I've made. A mild dish soap with a non-stick scraper or sponge is all you need for a quick clean. Good choice!
