
Exactly as described. I would recommend taking your Xbox360 apart, removing the DVD drive and VISUALLY VERIFYING the drive has the correct firmware and model information. If it matches this list, it's 100% working (assuming there are no lemons or damage in transit). As others have said, the easiest and quickest way to fix this is to remove the old board and replace it with a new drive (Stupid Microsoft). YouTube guide. Very simple, just take your time. Totally justified compared to buying another device.
