These lights are very interesting. The remote allows you to choose a color shade from various shades of yellows and oranges to reds, blues and greens. etc. whatever fits the ambiance of your space. There are several motion options that shimmer between just a couple colors or have the lights individually shimmer through a total (RGBMCY) "Red-Green-Blue-Magenta-Cyan-Yellow" sequence. Collectively, the lights are more color balanced than what I have seen in other RGB changing color combo lights. However, the combined hue is still too much of a pale blue-cyan color. The red should really be brighter for more chromatic balance. Also, they flicker too fast even when I try to slow them down with the remote. I wish I could slow down the speed of the color change mode to make for a more relaxing color changing effect. One thing I do really like about these lights is that they will keep the setting you choose even after you unplug them and plug them back in so if you connect them to some kind of switch they will keep the mode you chose.
