There are many poor reviews for these dresses, but I have purchased similar pieces made with similar rayon/lycra fabrics and I like them. Honestly, you can hardly find cotton clothing anymore--everything is rayon or rayon polyester with lycra--it's just the way it is. But I have some other shirts made by other vendors that were even made in the USA and the quality is the same. So for $30, this is what you get. For me, I was just looking for a casual dress that I could just throw on with some sandals so that I actually look more feminine instead of how I usually walk around with yoga capri leggings and T-shirts! It's nice to just have something in your closet that you know you can put on when you're going out somewhere where you just want to look a little nicer and this dress fits the bill. I also bought a couple of the versions with short sleeves as well and I have a couple of these sleeveless versions all in the darker colors (black, wine red, dark green and dark purple) so for me, I don't find the fabric sheer. I am 5'6" and about 148lbs, and the medium does fit me a tad loose, but my point is, the dress is not stretched over me to the point where the fabric looks sheer. I say, go ahead and try it and if you don't like it, return it!
